T&M

As you may have noticed, in the past few weeks i've been drawing and painting a lot of wildflowers and trees. This is a project for my sweet cousin's wedding, that i'm thrilled to be in. Each flower represents a table and it's guests. It started with the idea of illustrating wildflowers only, but as the number of tables got bigger, the concept of "flowering" got wider. It turned out to be a representation of Trás-os-Monstes flora, the north-eastern area of Portugal where our Families came from. The most important flower illustration i have the privilege to share is the flower wreath monogram illustration, with the initials of the bride and groom. I hope this is just the beginning of a happy ever after story.

Altuzarra Spring 2014

5 days have passed since the beginning of New York fashion week, and Altuzarra show, which happened last saturday, has already some of my favorite peaces of the season.
There's more to come!
