Alvites

In Alvites, there are two main houses, one of them (my uncle's) will soon be ready for rural tourism. The Pereira Cabral Mansion, also known as the Barbosa's Mansion is a beautiful country house in a small village, Alvites, nearby Mirandela (city where i came from). This drawing, along with the watercolor of the surroundings, was a birthday gift from my Aunt to my Uncle.

O solar Pereira Cabral, mais conhecido como solar dos Barbosas, situa-se em Alvites, uma pequena aldeia perto de Mirandela. Esta ilustração foi-me pedida, a par da ilustração do olival e paisagem que rodeiam a casa, pela minha tia para oferecer como presente de aniversário ao meu tio.

I was contacted to illustrate their "Save the Date" cover on Facebook. This is the result. 

Estou muito contente por poder partilhar a ilustração que fiz em parceria com a Munna, para a cover do facebook. Girl With Curves Stationary

One of the best things that this blog has brought me. People from all over the world contacting me through this media, aiming and asking for new illustrations. It's always a nice surprise to receive such feedback. 

Remember this illustration i made of Tanesha Awasthi? Also known as Girl with Curves, she ordered a simple illustration of her for her stationary. This was the result.

Christmas time

This is me... working on commissioned illustrations for Christmas, while it's snowing outside.

The time goes by so quickly while i work on the illustrations i was asked to do for Christmas presents. 

I'm enjoying the intensive experience and hope to share some of the works soon.

Esta sou eu enquanto trabalho nas encomendas de Natal. Neva em Istanbul, e da minha janela vejo os flocos a dançar, e o tempo a passar (tão depressa!). 

Sempre embrulhada em mantas e a tentar responder, da melhor forma que posso, àquela que é a minha primeira semana de encomendas sobrepostas para presentes de Natal. By the way... estou a adorar! Façam encomendas! É uma grande ideia para um presente especial :)

Agora sim: Dias com Mafalda

I believe this is a better version of Mafalda, the Portuguese chef!

No meu último post podem ver as tentativas (falhadas, mas sempre válidas) de registo das feições da Mafalda. Acredito que esta ilustração está mais próxima da Mafalda Pinto Leite .

 Esta é a prova de que com um bocadinho de persistência se chega lá*.
