RP Race Team

This is a postal for my sister's race team, RP race team. Postal free is one of their sponsors and will reproduce a few postals. This one was made with the purpose to caught some company's attention, as well as public's attention. The reference to a feminine team isn't obvious, but in a subtil way you can see that the silhouettes of the racing suits are a bit feminine. 

I guess the best way to approach a company or someone that might sponsor you, is with less words possible. Hope this simple illustration captures enough attention.

A equipa da minha irmã Pilar, RP race team, recebeu o apoio da Postal Free que irá reproduzir alguns postais, com a ilustração que aqui mostro.

O objectivo principal deste postal é o de enviar a empresas que possivelmente estejam interessadas em patrocinar a equipa. Como acredito que a melhor forma de abordar possíveis patrocinadores é com o menor texto/palavreado possível, optei por uma ilustração simples e "limpa". Os fatos de corrida têm subtilmente sugerida uma silhueta feminina, o verso do postal confere de que pilotos se trata. Como para bom entendedor, meia-palavra ou um desenho basta... Espero que vos faça justiça, Pilar e Rosário!

Turkish Vocabulary (Part I)

I've been in Turkey for one year and a half now, and i still don´t know all the basic vocabulary. 

So, to help me remember some words, and to learn a few more, i've decided to draw every single element (starting with food) with the names and meanings in Turkish, English and, (of course) in Portuguese. 

This onion and pomegranate were on the kitchen table, therefore, were the first ones to go.

Here's a great excuse to share some drawings daily (besides some other work).

Já estou na Turquia há praticamente um ano e meio, e ainda não memorizei todos os nomes/significados Turcos (básicos). Lembrei-me de desenhar e ilustrar todas as coisas básicas e diárias com os significados em Turco, Inglês (porque não?) e Português para cimentar melhor o vocabulário turco (ainda colado com muito cuspe na minha cabeça). Desenharei alguma coisa diariamente. É um óptimo intervalo de outros possíveis trabalhos e uma excelente desculpa para desenhar mais uma coisa qualquer. Começo pela comida. 

Quem me acompanha nesta caminhada?
